Bad Boy British Bitter - Yankee Brewer kit

$44.99

The national drink of England- a type of pale ale that is light amber in color, moderate in alcohol content, and accentuates hoppiness in taste and aroma. The name 'bitter' is sometimes confusing to beer drinkers, who assume that it is going to be too bitter for them to enjoy. Not true!- the name came from the British tradition of adding no hops to ale. When hops began to be added, the Britons called the hopped ale bitter, and the unhopped, simply ale. If you even remotely enjoy hops, then you will probably like this one. We include malt extract, genuine British bittering and aroma hop pellets, cracked grains for freshness of flavor, English dried ale yeast, Burton water salts/gypsum, and priming sugar. Original Gravity 1.044-46-- Finishing Gavity 1.011-13-- Alcohol by volume 4-4.25%.
